Good morning. Good afternoon. Depending on where you are, thank you to come. Welcome to the, webinar. Today, Miguel Perez and me, Sebastian Martinez, are going to be here to show you what is going to be new in the SUSE area and how you could optimize and simplify your environment. Miguel Perez is the general manager of the SUSE Venus Bureau, and I am the principal marketing manager, of the Welcome, Miguel. Hello. Thank you. Thank you. Thanks for the introduction. Well, we are going to try to start that because we are so interested in your questions and quiz that we are going to have in the at the last slide. And just to, illustrate what you are going to see here is mainly a quick agenda. The agenda is going to talk about the challenge of modernization or modernization challenge, how you could have more control of your current Linux state, the power of free, how SUSE is giving to you management support and modernizing help for your, infrastructure, how we could help you with trust resiliency and AI radio producers, and and what is the business impact. And later is the customer proof and the QA. Of course, please, Miguel, interrupt me when you have anything to add. The idea is I'm going to introduce the business challenge, and later, we are going to I'm going to let Miguel, who is the expert, to introduce you the solution. Yeah. Perfect. Let's do it. Well, let me say we were here for decades talking about the same. What is the promised land? Where we want to go? We want to modernize. We have a modern IT because we want more agility, more speed. We want to deploy everything at the scale in minutes, in seconds. Maybe we want to have infrastructure as a code. We want to have, everything in the cloud like a dream. Maybe it's you could make portable overalls to anywhere to anywhere across any environment. We we promise to you a practical estimates. Everything could be done from a single glass pane for the for the entire state. You could have cost efficiency, reduce your budget, have a lower cost. And this is something that we have been promote promoting and advertising. When I say we, I am talking about the IT world. Everybody was saving the last I'm going to say forever, but in the last two decades. But what has happened? They had it's very easy. When you go to customer and you ask to them, the 83% are trying to modernize their infrastructure. But at the other side, the only 35 of those customers say or think that they are doing that in a effective way. This is done consistently in different business papers. In this case, it's an IDC number. But this is the reality. There is a gap between what or where they want to be and what they are doing and how they trust what they are doing. And there are some reasons behind that. The first reason is foundation, the infrastructure has been has become the barrier. You could see it in the promised land picture that we have before. You see a green land that is having a blue sky, everything there. But what you find is a barrier in front of you that doesn't allow doesn't allow you to go inside. And this is due because, we have different different issues in our current infrastructure phase. We have what we call a maintenance trap. Just keeping the lights on is the 80% of the source. This is a number that has been mainly maintained over the last years and decades. Everybody that you ask to them, is saying to you, most of the budget is spent just to keep the things going. The second issue is the conflict. The new workloads always require something new, but what you are running is requiring further stability. And how to make a good balance without conflict between the data stability and the innovation capabilities of your infrastructure. And, of course, we are talking about the complexity task to administer or to have silos with different technologies, with vendor restrictions that have not given us the capabilities to leverage our budget. And last but not least, we have what we call the choice party. Most people think, okay, the promise land is perfect. And most IT providers say, if you follow us, you have that. But that promise could only be realized if you do that everything or you put your IT as a new environment from yeah. Starting from scratch, like a greenfield or with a high risk migration. And how we could build from what we are, not just destroying everything and building a new house. That's okay. It could be perfect, but we need to live between now and when we have the new house, if this is the issue. The thing is, there is another reason, is some of the mitigation factors. Mainly we we talk about that. Two decades saying modernization. And why? Why do we say that? Because the promise is the same, modernized to be competitive, to have a better IT. But the whole is changed. We say the same with verification, with cloud, with software defined everything, with containers, Kubernetes, AI, and right now with AgenTic AI with a new mandate. But every time we found that we need to go to the design table to redesign everything because all foundation or infrastructure is not able to evolve and be adapt, adapted to that reality. And, of course, this consume and destroy destroy our budget, of course. Right now, there are things that don't make things easier. The compliance and severity gap. This is for these these webinars mainly, see in in EMEA, in Europe, you could see that there is a regulatory storm that is shifting the security, moving the security from best practice to real liability about what you have. You cannot have more opaque supercharged, something that is not evaluated that doesn't have response or, software building of materials. That sovereignty is a well, let me say a trendy topic Trending topic because the geopolitical, status is not the best. I'm going to say that. And so many vendors are making movement that the IT, people and the enterprise are feeling that it's a business risk that could affect to the continuity of their business. What is going to happen if in any of this movement, you are being trapped by a vendor that you cannot trust anymore or by a norm that you cannot follow. Yeah. And this led to the last trap is the audit trap. Mainly, we okay. Let me say, let a lot of servers unpack. We think that, okay, we could assume the risk. But the thing is this create a huge exposure, for the regulations. We have become legally responsible of that patch servers and of that IP and of that compliance, and sovereign the gap that we are having. Well, there is the there is the problem now. What is the solution or what we are proposing? What Suresh is proposing to you? We are proposing a new architecture to give you freedom, choice, and a better, infrastructure that help you to reach that promised land. First first is you should own your Linux strategy. When I say you should own is that you should be able to control that. You should reduce that fatigue. You need to have an infrastructure that allows to evolve, that is providing to you the long term stability that your enterprise applications are needing with exactly the same innovation foundation that allows you to put new cloud native, workloads or the new AI assisted infrastructure should be ready for today and for the next, wave of modernization. And the second thing is you need to start with your current Venus state. We cannot go to your enterprise and say, start from scratch. Okay. If you were on startup, perhaps you could build that from scratch. But the reality is you are having 100 computer machine, 1,000 computer machine. Some people is having 10 or 100,000 virtual machines or machines in general. And, obviously, start from scratch is not an option anymore. We need to balance the operation innovation and, obviously, liberating budget to give you money and resource to do what you really want to do, to do the the promise, model efficient. And What we are giving to you is we are giving to you something technology, trusted and reliable to optimize what you are having today. We are giving to you a way to reduce the cost and retain the package that you are using in subscriptions that you are not leveraging and in vendor lock in traps to do what you want. We give you tools to simplify your current use state, to manage all your Linux in a single way regardless which Linux you have and regardless where those are. And, of course, we give you a new foundation to modernize at your base with a foundation that is really built to be fully automated, including AI assisted infrastructure, AI really, and, of course, all the previous waves if you want to install Google methods, if you want to install containers or virtualization is the perfect, foundation. And just let me say something about the waves. The waves are not just a linear wave. The last part is AI assisted infrastructure that could be operations operations, but there are others that are concurrent or parallel. There are mutable liners. There are distributors that are declarative. There are new things there that need to be addressed. It's not just a linear way or a path that is simple to follow. And this is why we are talking about SUSE Linux. We find that is the bedrock of every innovation wave. And we could say that a lot of time, but the the best proof is that we talk about the last ten or twelve years. And all the waves could be done and were done over Sysen, which enterprise server for many enterprise. We have, of course, less risk to asset. We have those on cloud. We do so what I find infrastructure with those, we play containers, Kubernetes. We are running AI, and we are ready for the next, waves. Like, is IdentiK AI or AI assisted infrastructure operation or immutable Linux. We are there, and we are going to be there in the future. Because we have a base for our modernization, a simplified foundation, one Linux that is adaptable for that. We have a infrastructure that is able to help you to facilitate this strategy, and we are empowering your business continuity in a secure and certified base that you could rely as a sovereign choice for you. And, of course, what we say is ready for the next. And, Miguel, I'm going to let you to introduce after this power of three, the technical part. Why we are saying that with SUSE Multilinos Manager, you could manage and modernize your current state, why you could use a single support offering like a SUSE multimedia support to change your current provider of Linux and keep your Linux supported and reducing cost and extending life cycle, and of course, how you could use SUSE Linux Enterprise Server to build your new foundation for your next Linux, for your next project. Well, Miguel, up to you. I'm going to let you the control. Thank you, Sebastian. Thanks for this introduction. It's Duo reminded me a lot of last conversation with customers telling us about the supply chain attacks and their concern on supply chain and telling them about silver bill of materials. And, oh, oh, really? This is nice. They they also reminded me of several customers talking about these two, CRI, and other regulations and telling them, folks, we we support you here this way, this way, this way. And, it's good to to see that our products are really aligned with you say, like the promised land. You know? All that grass is greener on the other side of the fence. We'd want to go where the grass is greener. Well, we are the greener with the greener part of the fence. So this is this is the other view, you know? The the when when we talk about Linux, we realize that this is a foundation of technology. This is the foundation of the infrastructure. And you need Linux to run your workloads and and to run your virtualization and to run many other things. So when you run on Linux, you you can run always on SUSE Linux or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. But you can also build on Linux. You can also have all these applications that you're building on your own that require some components, and you can build on them. Even if you're doing them directly on Linux, we can provide, like, a lot of components there. So you can build on Linux, like, for example, Java, like, for example, Tomcat. We have Tomcat and Java included in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. And, or you can even go to Kubernetes and containers and have application collection, which is a really great, collection of of components that you can use to build your own applications. So the overview, you can see that that Linux is, the core of everything. Even if we go application collection, all the container images are built using VCI, the base container image, which is built on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server infrastructure. So what we see is that we are getting more and more flavors and more and more use cases, but the solid foundation stays there and is so adaptable that we can reach out everywhere and do what you have said, Sebastien. Modernize, but without the the modernization fatigue evolving within what you're doing. So, so suddenly it's that foundation that enables you to do that. So it's important that it's not only the foundation, it's how you manage the foundation and it's how you manage whatever you have. I I found out that many customers that I talk to, they think that they have a standardized one single Linux. And suddenly, it's like, oh, really? Why don't you run-in your Oracle databases on? Oh, Oracle Linux. And why? Because Oracle provides that operating system, which is a good choice. You know? But, I mean, if you if Solidity realized that you have not just one Linux, but you have three or four because there's some Ubuntu there that some developers use to develop an application, and then moving it to another Linux was, like, not in their schedule and stayed on Ubuntu. Solidity realized, look, I need to figure out how to be able to handle an intergeneous environment. And we are I mean, we we are very good with the intergeneous environments and not just when it comes to different Linuxes, but also different targets, being able to work on workstation, being able to work on edge devices and distributed environments. And for that, we have Sysim Multilinux Manager. We have a customer in The United States Of Northern or North America that is running 100,000 devices in production managed with Multi Linux Manager. So we can escape. Right? And we can do it in a way which, we can, as we say, manage different Linuxes, all your Linux estate, in a single pane of glass and not with a single glass of pane. So making it easy for you to manage your whole infrastructure from one point. What else? Of course, multilateral support. So let's say that you're running CentOS. You have that CentOS seven. What do you do? Tell me. Sebastian, do you want me to say something? Sorry. One thing that I consider so interesting I go back? in the previous. Let's. go. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. So much is one phrase that is here. Everybody is talking about sovereignty. Everybody. Yeah. And how we could how we could start with that. Mainly because we are vendor dependent. We are we have maybe flavor of Linux. Don't care. Whatever. But the thing is we have everything set to manage that, to operate that. The thing is, if you don't have this kind of single loss of pain or pain of lust, yes, you are not going to be able to be really free. You need, operatic control and choice that allows you to adopt new versions, new flavors of Linux, regardless you are talking about Amazon Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS, Susan Linux, Oracle Linux, Red Hat Linux. That's the point is how we could really control an ownership over a stage if we don't have the choice and the freedom to put in the next project what we really need. This is the best thing the first step to have a sovereign IT. So many times rely on that kind of tools that give you that freedom. Not the freedom to change what you have, it's the freedom to adopt the new things that you need. Yeah. This is so important. Yeah. And and. also, I remember that in SUSECON, Frank Feldman, our CSO, chief authority officer, was talking about, two concepts are interesting to test your sovereignty, which is one is the exit velocity and the other one is the ability to pivot. And with multi Linux manager, I mean, the exit velocity from one Linux to the to another is faster because you are still keeping the same management tools and your ability to pivot increases greatly. Another point that you're making me think about is that some customers are now concerned on AI because of vulnerabilities followed by AI and needing to patch faster. Multi Linux Manager is the tool to patch faster. What I see is that customer that were patching once a year when they start using multilinux manager, then they are patching once a month, and then they start patching once a week. And if they need to put a patch in in hours or minutes, they they can't afford it because they can't even test the patches before making them into production. So if you need to patch faster, this is your tool. Okay? What else? Well, they don't support. So let's say you have to do send those seven around there. And it's like, what am I going to do? Oh my god. You know? I don't have any more patches. I don't have any more packages. CVS is not piling up. What am I going even route 7. You have your route sevens there. I mean, we can cover those. We can support your route seven, your CentOS seven with multilingual support. We can support your version eight, version nine, version 10, which we released, recently. So if you have a state of the high defensiveness of CentOS and you want us to support it, we can do it. We have to we have done it for several customers. I mean, I think you're going to mention it later on, so I don't want to steal your thunder, Sysore. But definitely, you know, okay, if you want to stop paying, your vendor and move to Sysore Linux, we have a choice for you. And they can make you earn time to be able to to modernize and second, save money to invest in modernizing and in in in in your in your in the evolution of your infrastructure. Okay? Then the SLES 16, my beloved SLES 16, we just launched it in November. So it's not even one year old, 16. We have made it with a very long lifecycle with a very easy to understand lifecycle. So you can you you don't have to even plan around it. It it is built already so it fits in your plans. Okay? We talked to a lot of customers to build the 16. And what we did is the following. Every single minor version, we're going to release every November. So every November for my birthday, I'm going to get a new release. Oh, it's just a joke. But every November, we're going to have a new release of SLS 16 and it's going to be there so you can check, okay, every November, a new release. Second, these releases are are maintained by general support for two years. So you have one year overlap to move from one minor version to another. As let's say Steam doesn't change the version when you update, if you do a separate update, it will stay in the version until you say I want to change my new version. So you are in control of which version are you using. Then you have full year to move from 16 to 16.1. If you want to extend that dot zero release or that dot one release or any minor release, you have another three years of long term support. Okay? So it's two plus three in every minor version. There's one exception, which is the latest version, which is going to be 16.6, which instead of two years of general support, we'll have four years of general support. So you take you can have more time to move from one major version to another. This provides you the life cycle that you need to be able to start your projects, to make a Sys 16 your next Linux for your next project. Or when you have to redeploy something, when do I redeploy it on on a Linux that has my back, on a Linux that has a life cycle that I can understand, that I can use, that I can rely on? So slash 16 is your next Linux. So you can really rely on it. We did it in a way which is modular. So there are several components, like, for example, Java or Tomcat, which I really like a lot and I've worked a lot with them. And those are modular and you have more than one version of those. So you can use to you can select which version you want to use and they have a life cycle adapted to the version of it. It provides a very easy modernization path. Okay? Most of the technologies in Azure 16 are mainstream technologies. Any administrator has been using all the Linuxes when they come to Azure 16, they feel at home. Okay? And they even find the technologies like better file system that have file system snapshots. So they can make a snapshot and rollback in any deployment. So if you're deploying bare metal, if you're deploying on cloud, if you're deploying on edge, if you're deploying on virtualization, anywhere to one, you can use the same snapshot because it comes with the operating system and it works the same anywhere you are using it. And then, of course, it's resilient. And I'm very proud to say this, the quality of SLS 16 is amazing. On top of that, when we released SLS 16, it was already eighteen months before we released SLE Micro six point zero, which has the same code base. So the code base of SLS 16 when it was released in November, it was already eighteen months old used in production. So right now it's like production ready, production tested. You can use it for your own projects. What else? Of course, you want to save for your long term IT. We are providing it not just with the SLS 16. SLS 15 also can provide a really long lifecycle. It has a lifecycle of six years. It was released last year in summer in May. So we still have five more years of SLS 16 general support plus long time service pack support plus LTS Core. So you have a long time on the last fifteen. If you need any of the features that are on the last fifteen, you can always trust it. We provide true life cycle control. You know? We provide the life cycle that you can understand, that is easy to understand, that you control when you change your minor version. You control when you change your your major version. We provide time for you to move from one to the other. So you don't really have to plan. You just have to keep up with the flow and expand it where you need it. Okay? We provide security and compliance. We have EAL four plus. So it's less 15, has been certified. EAL four plus is the greatest, security certification in the industry, and we make it. And on top of that, I mean, we are well known for running SAP workloads. We have customers running 32 terabyte machines with the HANA databases on top of SLS. No issues at all. They move to them. They even get calls like, hey, are you really finishing this migration? Why? Because we are not having issues. So really, it's security and compliance, minimal disruption is there. In SLA 16, we have included also live patching. So you can even patch the kernel and some user libraries. So TLC is one of those. So those libraries can be patched live without having to reboot. So you can apply those patches and keep them running without having to reboot. You can locate your own maintenance windows and you only have to reboot once a year. So and the good thing is that if there is a multilininess manner, it will detect that it's been patched even if it hasn't reboot. So you have all the control on your infrastructure, reducing the risk, reducing the cost. Okay? So life cycle, I already explained it. Let me show it to you. You see the upgrades here. You see the life cycle. So as well as sixteen, sixteen years of life cycle, making it easy for you to remember. Sixteen, sixteen years. So the first ten years general support, they're going to have six minor versions from 16.3 to 16.6. All these minor versions that I explained before, two years of general support, one year of overlap, easy to move from one minor to the other, and the last one is going to have four years of of general support. All of them come with the option of having long term support. So you can have two plus three, five years of support for every minor version. The last one is an exception again because moving from a major to another major usually takes more time. So we are extending to four years of general support plus three long term support plus LTS core long term support core, which is an extension of another three years. So with this, there are fewer upgrades. If you're using long term support, you can, go from 16 to 16.3 and then from 16.3 to 16.6. So two two minor upgrades for sixteen years of support. That is quite as quite impressive. I love what our engineers can do and what, enables us to do and what enabled you to do with units. Okay? Control approval control upgrades, you will never change the amount of pressure unless you request it, and a very long overlap to be able to plan accordingly. And, again, SSL fifteen seventy five seven has had a very nice life long long life cycle. But we're still I mean, we still have plenty of years for it. We still have general support until 2031 and then LTSS and other three years and LTSS core. We have one point here. You know, there's something called year 2038 for Linuxes and other units like systems in which there's going to be an effect similar to year two thousand for Windows. Okay? This means that '32 bit libraries shouldn't be used anymore. SLS 15 was our latest release with 32 bit libraries. So it cannot be extended beyond 2038. So you still have a very long lifecycle until 2037. With it, you're a safe harbor to work, to work with. We're talking about eleven more years. I mean, we're twenty, twenty six now. So it's eleven more years of Linux with SLES 15 service pack seven. So this is what we do. And we have been doing it for years. SLES 12, SLES 11, they have super long life cycles. I even called the guys at the Guinness World of Records to see if we could apply for a world record on the longest maintained Linux version. But, I mean, they asked for quite a lot of money and we couldn't afford it from a marketing perspective. But, I mean, it's probably the longest life cycle Linux, that we've seen in the industry. Sebastian, do you want to say something? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's about 15 s p seven. So many people ask us about why we are talking about 15 sp seven. Maybe maybe because the same thing that we say at the beginning. We are not discarding every modernization wave. There are people that are installing former versions of the enterprise application. They are installing a version of former version of SAP HANA or they are installing a former version of Oracle database, and they need to install that in an operating system. Of course, the rest 15 special is there for them for a long, long time. And this is this is something that is important. If they need today something that is so mature, that is 35, fully ready, and all in all support tabulating matrix of software vendors for former version of applications. It says 15 is still a valid option, and some people were wondering that if they install, for example, a database today, it is less 15 s p seven, they are able to not need a minor upgrade until 37. This is really wonderful. Let me say how many people are doing projects that cannot be modified or upgrade in an easy way that are investing today, like, windmill or, high or big database that cost millions that they want to ensure that if they need that long, heavy duty, that long life cycle, they are going to be in that way. This is just my my bonus. It's so long that so many people were allies. Two twenty fifty seven. Where we are going to be there. I am not sure if the database is going to run. if The operating system operating operating system is going to be running at the point. So if they're running it on the Sys 15 Service Pack seven, I mean, we will be there. So AI is I want to talk about AI. May I, Sebastian? Yes? Okay. So AI I mean, everybody is used to AI nowadays, you know. You have Gemini in your Gmail and you have, TTPT and you have, Cloud from Anthropic and have so many things around AI. And it's really an enabler. It's amazing. So, we are working towards being able to do AI assisted infrastructure. Some customers tell me, oh, Miguel, so will I have to use AI? No. I mean, only if you want to, and I'm telling you, you will want to. Okay? So because this is, like, really good. Okay? One of the things that is so cool about, AI SCC infrastructure is that you can use AI to support you when you are doing administration. I I started my career as a sysadmin, unlike the marines, once as a sysadmin, always as a sysadmin, you know. So normally I try everything that we release before we release it and I was working a lot with the last 16 and there's this tool that we have added which is called MCB Host that can connect to your AI of choice. Okay? For example, I used the Gemini. So you get your token of Gemini, you put it in the configuration and now this tool can connect to Gemini and be able to process what you have in your system. I normally start by giving it read only access to some parts of the file system, like, for example, it is c for the configuration or the slash prop to see all the processes of what is going on in the system or slash bar for the logs and whatnot. Okay. Bar lock for the logs and whatnot. So I did that and I started, like, asking AI, what is going on in my system? And then, oh, you have a system that is running Apache, that is running Tomcat, that it has this version of Java, that has this CVE. Okay, good. How can I patch it? Oh, just run secret update. Okay, update it. And then, I I deleted a file from, Tomcat, and it detected, oh, there's a file missing. Okay. Good. Now try to imagine that somebody SSH into your server, deleted a file accidentally, and didn't say anything, how long it will take you to detect that? So with AI, you can do it like a lot faster. And it's not just that. You can minimize all operational costs. You can really streamline your operations, You know, reducing risk, you can have some kind of, automated checking during the night that will tell you what is the status every morning, you know, and they will check and they will review all the logs every night. And then you have something within your logs with intelligence, with AI that can do that. And it will increase your competitive competitiveness. Okay? So you will become more competitive because you will be able to manage things faster, reduce the amount of issues, reduce the the risk, and be able to to have a better performance in everything that you're running. Okay? So 80% of our because of of of the, interview people, this is, IDC, data. 80% of practitioners see AI agents as call to future operations. And we we agree with that. And how are we doing it? Yep. Let let, sir. no. No. Let me add something is okay. AI right now is in every conversation. And if you follow that conversations, I find that 80% so conservative. But the thing is there is a promise. This is there's a promise that you have talked about that is reduce cost, minimize or reduce risk, and, of course, do more business. This is, as I say at the beginning, the promised land, everything is going to be greener. It's going to well, greener with SUSE, of course. Yeah. It is it's going to be greener, and and, of course, it's going to be better. But there is the point, and Miguel, I think that say that in a very good way. To realize that premise, AI itself Yes. is not enough. You need to connect that to the infrastructure. You need to connect that to your operation. You need to leverage that to do something with that that could offer that value. The thing is generic. Generic is nice. It's a chatbot. You could have had a great conversation with that, but you need something that is really connected to your systems. Yeah. And what we are saying to our customers is we are giving to you that connectors to realize that provides, to give you the government context aware and your tick operations with context of audio renewals and operator control. I am just hijacking your presentation, No. No. Miguel. Sorry. But, I mean, we're here to tell people, you know, so we can tell it together, and it's good for me to hear you saying it, no? I really like to emphasize one point here, like MCP. The MCP is on the standard, okay? Anthropic published data, if I recall correctly, November 2024 And it was like, boom. Okay. Now we have a standard to connect everything with AI. And this is the standard where we are using. We want to be open we are always open. We want to be open not just in the code but also the way things connect by using the standards and open standards is like the next level of openness. And this one is the newest view to choose which components you want to use by having a standardized interface that you can use. So to, to, to go again, to call it a with b, with c with d, with whatever. So what we're doing here is leveraging MCP, which is a standard, and MCP can, help AI discover what is the context of the question. Okay? And the MCP servers help, again, provide some context on what you're asking, what is going on in the system. So you can get all the information like this is a slash 16, point zero, and it has this package installed and whatnot, blah blah blah blah blah. So what we are seeing here is, like, first, we we provide the ground context for the Linux state. Okay? We are also developing this is coming, MCP, connector for Multilinux Manager. So if you have all the Linuxes through multi Linux manager, they will be able to do, AI assisted operations. So we have started with this list. We're coming next to multi Linux manager. And and, we want we are adding their operational control with policy, adaptability, and human oversight, what we call human in the loop. And for that, we are building a a universal proxy. It's not out there yet. It will come. Okay? So this is road map items. So, again, with the roadmap, the roadmap is the roadmap. It is not the roadmap. Okay? So, but these are our plans. Okay? This is what you can expect to to ask. You can knock on the door. Hey, how is this going? When can I use it? So So just letting you know that this is coming. And what we see is that when people start using this, the productivity scales. Okay? Troubleshooting is, easier and you can do a lot more things. And, again, you can automate things at a point in time that they can be do by done by AI that then you can review yourself. And, and and yeah. And then this is completely modular, easy to integrate, and, already letting you choose which LLM you want to consume. So if you want to have your own private LLM, you can have it. We have to say, I, in case you want a private LLM. You if you want to use Gemini or Ether or Surgidity or other, LLM providers, you can use it. Let let me add something before go is because I wonder in an oh, I want I wonder I wonder a lot about that is think about that you have the AI instead to say you to the AI what you have is able to find that, discover that, give you insights, have correlated visibility. Yes. For the analyze part, it's a very huge improvement in the productivity. Yep. And, of course, the execution is going to be the second the second step, and it's going to be there. The ability not just to see which servers have been unpatched or which of my database has different version of package because the inventory is not the same. It could propose you to pass those automatically and you could say, yes, go and do that or to, just make some remediations. You are adding AI to a SUSE Enterprise Server for SAP and Twinto or to connect with SUSE Venture, Prime. But the thing is why you are doing that. Mainly because those are going to be expert. There are going to be different problems, different experts, different different point of views. When you are going to go to multidinos manager, I'm going to you are going to explain that later, but you are going to see all your fleet. You will say something like, how many of my servers are unpatched or how many of my servers have different version of OpenSSL or have this vulnerability or the inventory is not, or how can I say, or how can I improve the performance of this server? What is Of what is, making my server perform wrong? is know? Yeah. yeah. Yeah. This is the reason why we have another way another way to connect that is the system centric to connect directly people to a slash to do big trouble sorting. is to be able to the logs, system D, or everything. This is what we discussed with people. They wonder why this was done in that way. When we explained to them, they say, okay. This is the way to go. Yes. That's this is this is so so great. Okay. I'm so sorry, No. Miguel. No. It's am so passionate. it's perfect because we see all the layers, you know, from the system. One system you need to troubleshoot to need to work on, to the fleet, to the application layer, in this case, SAP operations with Trento. And, and, yeah. All the nicer operation without replacing your little estate. As you said, you know, being able to manage the fleet with user multi Linux manager, we are adding, MCP capabilities. So we will enable, JDKI, capabilities to do operations, AI assisted operations, as you call it here, in multi Linux manager. So no migration, upgrade. You just deploy to the multi Linux manager to connect your systems to the multi Linux manager, your whole to your genius state. Even if your thing is not a tele genius, I'm telling you, you will figure it out once you dig deeper than it is. So you can connect all of these to multi network manager and be able to apply AI assisted operations right now, even for legacy IT. You know, you connected your legacy, your CentOS seven, that is, still running around there. You you're connected to Sysimilitude of Mana. Sysimilitude of Mana will be able to extract some of the use. to those old servers with AI. This this is great because it connects the first idea that we launch about modernization and return to the design table and to everything from the scratch. What we are giving with Multivitos Manager is a tool that is enable your former legacy IT without replace that to the last modernization wave. Yep. You could start a door to an entry point to enable your current Linux state without change that. Just connect it. So so the booty use barrier and connect AI to booty use barrier to really start to leverage that last wave. We don't need to start from scratch. We are dropping the barrier to see the landing or the promised land that that that greener future. This is this is great. When we discussed with so many people, and in this last two second happens in some discussion is, okay, every it's very ready to the beginning. Is everything that you promised need to replace everything that we have? This is the answer. No. It's not true. We are providing you that you are going to modernize to modernize to start your future proof path. Yes. Adding few piece and adopting new technologies at your pace with multi use manager for AI assist operational scale with your current of and, of course, with multi use support to having a reduction, of course, directly without replace your or CentOS and just improving your support and the budget. It's just yeah. Just this this moment. Yeah. I mean I mean, it's pretty on on top of that, even with our AI, just what the user experience manager helps you patch faster, helps you test the patches before applying them, helps you run open a scope and check that your configuration is correct, helps you a lot. So we put it all together. It's it's really good for your own for your IT, for your IT, for your Linux estate to have a maintenance manager as a management tool. Okay? So and this is coming also in many conversations I'm having with customers, you know, about security, security, security, security, you know, especially copy fail. We all heard about this this weekend. You know, copy fail. Oh, what am I going to do? Oh, there's a there there was a very easy workaround to be done. Just remove a kernel module and add a configuration file to block that kernel module from being loaded again. And and this could be done I mean, so cellular multilinux manager could do that for your entire fleet, like, super fast. You just create a configuration file. You run the remote execution. You run it on your whole fleet. You're good to go. Okay? So, yeah. But what we say here is that we simplify security and we are secure by design. Okay? We are doing it with multi lens. So as I was saying, you can do the attestation with OpenSCAP. You can check the configuration, as I was saying. But also in the SLES, we are adding confidential computing capabilities. Like, for example, you can encrypt, of course, the disk that was already available with TPM2, and be able to unlock it with TPM two. You can include the memory. You can include the CPU. We are working on those features that provides extra security. We are providing continuous protection, providing you not just RPMs, fresh RPMs with with new versions, but also patches. We can issue patches without having to issue RPMs. So this is a big difference in the way we manage less and the way we want it's multi little support. Okay? So if you need the patch, we can provide the patch immediately without having to reissue an RPM. And, also, we have a feature that I I find incredibly good, which is something called product temporary fixes. Our support team can provide a temporary fix for you, mister customer. So if you're a customer, you have an issue, you want to check, I how can I fix this? If you can can you test this? We can provide a program temporary fix immediately, and you can go and run it and say, okay. This is working for me. Good, mister customer. And if it's not working, we can help you troubleshoot, of course. So you can have all these patches immediately with program temporary fixes. Okay? And this is included in SLS and this is included in multi Linux manager that can distribute all these patches. And this is included in multi Linux support that is something that comes from with our own, way of working. So you can apply those patches there. So we are targeting all with stricter certifications. EIR4 plus is one of those. LTSS standard with CVSS, there are four or more. And now in the Sysixteen, we have SELinux. SELinux has been, I always think about Dan Walsh. I worked with Dan Walsh, who was like the SELinux reference for me. And, and and he was really happy to see SELinux in SLS. So everybody who likes SELinux, who has been a fan of Dan Walsh, come to SLS. We will have SELinux here. We'll be welcoming you and we will be welcoming you with SELINUS in our operating system. What else? The attacks. And I'm talking about Copycale, talking about Mythos. I mean, I've been having this conversation with customers. And they're telling me, what can I do? Like, first, you have to patch faster. You have to be able to make changes to your infrastructure faster. That makes having a tool that can manage infrastructure, can manage patches, that is intended to patch large infrastructure super fast. Okay? That is one of those things. So and we're also seeing that when it comes to security, those, patches, those fixes, those vulnerabilities, that's one part of it. The other part is the supply chain attacks. Okay? And the sum the summer supply chain is the new attack surface. So many, many attacks are happening there. There was this x, at sea, attack that was just a modification that was so subtle that was detected because it introduces an extra latency when SSH into a server. And it was detected there, and there are thousands of dependencies. There's a non provenance. There's tampering. There's vector. So what we do here is that we provide software build up materials. We take care of everything we put in our Linux. We sign all the artifacts. We have reproducible bills in case you want to reproduce what we are building. Our build system is open. Our test system is open. You can go and audit them. And you can evaluate our secure supply chain, with a government grade certification. So you have everything there to ensure that our supply chain is secure. Okay? As I said, with multiples manager, you apply the patches faster, you do test you can test the patches before applying them, and you can do continuous auditing. It's important because everybody wants to verify. Talking about sovereignty, Sebastian started talking about sovereignty at the very beginning of this talk. And, and we are following these principles for years and years already. You know, we are secure by design. We provide machine variable bill of materials. We have reproducible bills. We sign all our artifacts on everything with transparency and regulatory readiness. Okay? We certify the integrity of what we provide. We are the sovereign foundation. So normally, when you think about it, like, how do I get something that I can trust? That it doesn't have a kill button. Okay? A kill switch button. So how can I know that? I mean, with us, you can do it. You have the full chain. It's completely transparent. It's completely updatable. And it's not only that, it's we provide the ways to do a routine verifiable audit of what we build. We can reclaim control. I mean, reclaim control. Be open, open, open. This is what we do every day. So it's all designed for resilient operations. Again, this is happening. It means, like, always, how do we do how do we do it? There's another technology that is really interested that has been there since it's less 12. Okay? Twelve, fifteen, 16. So and it's called beta file system. And it has a tool called a snapper. And you can automate the snapshots. You can have automated robot. When you do a separate update and you update your system and the snapshot is created for the for the file system that is hosting the operating system. So you can roll back. And the beauty of it is that it's done in such a good care that bar lock is not snapshotted. So you can keep the logs of what happened and when you roll back and when you roll forward, and you can track everything there. Okay? So this is how it works. It provides safer operation. So there's even a way in which you can configure, SUSE Linux micro so that when you start the system, you can run some checks. And if the checks fail, it rolls back immediately to the previous well known configuration. So this way you minimize some time. Let's say your companies are super far away from you with a very bad communication mechanism. This could be a lifesaver for you. Okay? This is cloud ready. I mean, now this, capability of being able to do a snapshot and rollback is also in the cloud images. So that 16 comes with better file system so you can snapshot and rollback and do a surgical recovery. Not just that, when you have different snapshots, you can even compare the files from one snapshot to another to see what changed here. So it also supports your troubleshooting. It also supports your auditability of what has happened in the system from A to B. And immutable. We have been talking about Zmicro, Zmicro, Zmicro. This is our immutable offering when it comes to to SLS, but Zlibmicro and SLS are going to merge. And this is going to happen in sixteen point one. And why are we good at doing that? Because we finally have Zlibmicro and SLS with the same code base and we want to build it and we're preparing all the packages in SLS so you can install them in immutable so we can have one single code base. This is going to be useful for you because whenever we we certify a version, it will be all certified, you know? So this is the promise that we want to to make and to keep. And in the S3 16.1 is going to be an immutable, flavor. Okay? So with your styling, you can select, oh, I want it, the standard way. I want it the immutable way. And this is always what it is. Okay? So root file system is read only. You can apply changes to it via transaction. You can you'll remove to have the transaction applied. You streamline maintenance. You discuss with this risk. Minimize our time. So you can do it today with the SLE microsystem two. And in November when we release 16.1, you will be able to do it with, Switzerland Enterprise Server. So it's going to be the same thing. Just changing the naming, converting the two branches into the two well, the one code base with two branches into one single branch and making it easier for you to consume. And of course, with the Elasticsearch team, we have the base container image, which is the container image that you can use to create your own containers so that you can, you can deploy your own container images built by yourself with the security of the SLS. Okay? We are running out of time. So let me go quickly through this. It's very important, but I think we've already made it clear. We run on open standards. We are transparent, and we have verifiable, security. It's not just sovereignty. It's common sense. Okay? Do you need trust? Do you need to have an infrastructure you can rely on? You you you have to figure out these things, you know, that everything is open, that you are using open standards, that you can connect with people to see that everything is transparent, and that you can verify it yourselves. So this is what we do at SUSE, and this is what, of course, what we're doing for SLS and for SUSE multilinearics manager and multilinearics support. Okay? The most beautiful part here, which for me is like winning if I was a cook or a chef, I'm winning a Michelin star, this is the Michelin star that we have been granted by the Digital Public Goods Association, which is an agency backed and supported by the United Nations. They have recognized Sucellino's enterprise server and is the product, Sucellino's enterprise server. It's not the the upstream project. It's not no, no, no. It's Sucellino's enterprise server. The one that has been recognized as a digital public good. This means that everything is open and we are not saying it. It's the digital public good, alliance that is supported by United Nations, the one that is saying it. The same way when we're talking about security, it's not that we are saying it. It's that the the common criteria is satisfying it. So you can really rely on them to say, look, these folks are doing their job well. And we are really happy to receive this kind of recognition, for our products. And I'll pass it on to Sebastian to talk about this feedback in the last few minutes that we have. Yeah. We have just two minutes and we are so passionate about all technology that we spend all the webinar talking about that. But really, what we want to demonstrate here is that we have lower cost, lower risk, and more control with all technologies. And there are a lot of examples in our website, but I'm going to put just two of them. The first is a study that from IDC that say that you could have more than $4,000,000 of average annual benefit running through service enterprise server with multi business manager. And we've had a record of investment that that more bigger than 300% in three years. And, of course, we have a specific use case with multi renewal support and multi renewal manager with like the Police Airlines LOD that increase efficiencies by more than a 50% in annual security of fees over what they paid before to the provider, and then reduce more than a 50% the long term CTCO or total cost of ownership. Mainly, one benefit of that was to simplify management, release release IT personnel, and focusing what they really need instead to just keeping their lights on. And last example is about Office Depot that using Multiverse Maya reduce more than a 40% the IT management cost. This mean that from being just, let me say, big infrastructure enterprise as everybody is. They they reduce the time you said the cost of administer to do operation in more than 50% for patching, for vulnerabilities, for inventory, for deployment of new applications.
